There are over 500 studios with a variety of artists and makers opening their doors for you to see behind the scenes and get inspired or shop for unique items directly from the artists
Alison Graves and I will be discussing the dying tradition of mothers making handmade dolls to hand down to their daughters in Iran and the role these dolls have played throughout history. We’ll explore the psychological perspectives and beliefs that these dolls pass down intuition to future generations.
I am delighted to be hosting this event alongside my fellow artist and friend, Dorota Chioma.
The event is named after the Norse Goddess of motherhood Frigga and is a poetry evening and live Auction of beautifully artistic items to raise funds for MumsAid.
